There were hardly any buys in September. I spent most of my pocket money on food, traveling, and birthday gifts.

Guilt Trip Mini Cupcakes Box
I wanted to have cupcakes ever since people started uploading their pictures on Instagram. I bought a pack for my best friend's birthday, and she loved them a lot. I got a pack of 12 minis for Rs. 200. We can also choose which flavoured cupcake we want to keep in the box. It was the best deal so far.

The Long List by Hallmark
The second best deal was this pack of 100 lists. I always made lists on my own, but now I don't need to make one. This was one of the most important things to organize in my life till now.
Sometimes, I just keep staring at its beauty.
I got this pile for Rs. 99. And, hey, we shouldn't ignore the fact that the design on it is simply mindblowing!
Perfect pick!

Harper's Bazaar India July-August 2014 Issue bought in Scrap
For the magazine making lecture, sir had asked us to combine more than two magazines of the same category for ideas. The other day, we just happened to go to a scrap shop, and I asked if he had Harper's Bazaar, and he had!
Actually, I got a thing for Bazaar.
Well, I bought the last month's issue for Rs. 30 only!

Blue Gemstone Finger Ring
I have started liking hand accessories like watches, bracelets, rings, etc. I recently purchased a blue coloured ring from a jewelry and beauty shop. I got the ring for Rs. 70, which is sort of less.
Last time when I'd bought a red coloured one, I had raised my eyebrows when the shopkeeper said the ring was for Rs. 100. Later, he sold me the ring for Rs. 90.
Finger rings look classy on western as well as Indian outfits.

Paper Gift Bags from Celebration
Don't worry; I am going to write a post on these bags in few days! These bags are the cutest thing at my place right now. I got a pack of six paper bags for Rs. 120. I don't know if it is too much, or too less.
This bag served as a gift hamper for my best friend, Rutuja. (You're going to love it.)

What are your best buys this month?

September month was/is superb! There are plenty of things to note down in this month.

Here are my September favorites:

TPCG's Anniversary
Nothing was as good as my blog's anniversary. Completing a year was a big achievement to me. Apart from that, writing articles about it, like the tips and changes, I have done something really good. I'm glad I extended TPCG for a year, and still am continuing it.

Roadtrip to Lonavla
Well, well, apart from it being my first roadtrip, it indeed was a rocking one. I was with a totally different set of people, and I enjoyed the roadtrip thoroughly.

Best Friend's Birthday (Rutuja)
You would suggest me to mention about this in the roadtrip itself; but frankly, the birthday was better than the roadtrip, because hey, it was my best friend's birthday!

Best Friend's Birthday (Prajakta)
Today it is my school best friend's birthday. We had planned a surprise for her. It worked wonderfully (though we couldn't hug her spontaneously as boys were playing football in between us). We had purchased a cute box of mini cupcakes for her. I ate most of the cupcakes, and I don't feel a percent guilty about it. The time I spent with her and my other school best friend was a much needed. We have a fun time whenever we meet.

Yummy Cupcakes
As a gift, we did not give a cake, but cupcakes. I had asked one of the TPCG's readers, Aishwarya, if she knew a good pastry shop near our locality. That is when she told me about this shop: Guilt Trip. I was wondering where I was all this time that I did not know about this yummy shop. We purchased a box of twelve mini cupcakes, and it costed just Rs. 200. The box was cute. I could not click images as I was in a rush to meet her.
The friend, Anuja, who was with me, bought a box of three regular sized cupcakes. Delicious!

The Long List
It is resting on my worktop. I love it! (Also check how to use long lists.)

Painting the House
We have painted the house after 9 long years. We feel so fresh and neat every time we enter the house. The hall (living room) has off white and olive/bottle green, kitchen has a lighter shade of mango, my brother's room has white and peacock blue, and my room? It is a secret.

Frame
I designed a picture and framed it at a local shop. The frame is inspirational. I will post about it as soon as all the three frames are hanging on my room's wall.

Stencil Art
One of the pillars in my room has stencil art. Although I didn't like it when I'd seen it for the first time, now I've started liking it.

My Room
This is not my room. The theme of my room is similar to this. Oh! I love being at home.

New Fonts
I've used a different font for every alphabet here, including the characters like apostrophe. I have used these fonts in posts like Avoid Redoing Project Work, ONE Year for TPCG!, Anniversary Special: How Blogging Has Changed My Life, etc. I loved all the fonts I have used here. No matter these fonts are making the posts appear quirkier.

Fishtail
My friend tried Fishtail the other day in college. I must say it was brilliant!

Red Bull
I tried Red Bull drink for the first time. I had actually texted my brother to ask him if it contains alcohol. He said no, and only after that I tried it. (I'm sorry; but I am too conscious about this.)

Best Friends' Meet
I met my school time best friends today! I had a lovely time with them.

I seriously don't have time to write a long post like today's. I'm just back home. I had gone out with my mom to give cloth pieces for stitching, and other things.

We met at morning 7:00 near the birthday girl's place. After all the five of us were there, we left. All her favourite people were there: her three best friends, and a family friend.

We took first halt at McDonald's, because it seemed everybody was hungry. I ordered a tumbler of coffee (my favourite).

We started further. The atmosphere was amazing. As always! Lonavla+Monsoon/Winter=Heaven.

We stopped randomly at a point. The view was awesome! There was a South Indian family having snacks there.

Later, just after some time, we stopped again for some quick snacks. I had a McPuff. It was exactly 10:45 that time. The breakfast time was still going on.

When she was not listening, her girl best friend told me that they had hidden the cake in the back of the SUV. I did not know the cake was homemade!

We reached Tiger Point, Lonavla. Akshaya took out the cake and we cut it. It was delicious.

The usual 'feeding cake by the Birthday Girl' was going on. I wanted to eat the whole damn cake!

Then she gave her a cute wallet and the greeting.

And then...we had cheese Maggi!

Oops; look who joined us?

We clicked photos at the Tiger Point. It was superb.

The five of us.

Way towards INS Shivaji.

We went to Bhushi Dam. To reach there, we had to go through knee deep water. The water was cold.

Feeding the fishes.

Typical photographs.

Loved these houses/motels. I peeped outside the SUV and clicked this one!

We left for coming back. We halted at a random waterfall, and clicked many photos. It was way too slippery!

After the waterfall, we halted at a hotel, and had lunch. I did not have as I was not hungry. They were having fish fry, so I couldn't breathe there properly!

Then we came back in the city. We went at her place and cut the cake with her parents and sister.

Later, we went to Poptates for dinner. And again, we five were there! At last, I reached home at 9:30.

Hello guys!

I am busy since two days. Last to last day I had lectures till 3:30, and I reached home at 5:00 or something. After that, I slept for forty minutes, and went down for a long list of tasks to do. It was my best friend's birthday yesterday, so I had to shop gifts. I also had to collect frames and wrist watch, and buy food for the big road trip. I went down at 7:00, and came back at 9:00. I had food, prepared her gift, had dinner, and slept.

And yesterday...it was not possible. I will write a post on the road trip tomorrow, or in some days.

I just loved the way my best friend's best friend 'Akshaya' made a greeting card for her. Isn't it amazing? I loved how she's finished it. It looks as if this card was bought from one of those craft exhibitions.

She has taken a chart paper, and on that has stuck a handmade paper. Then she has stuck different sized papers for giving it a 3D look.

They're school best friends, so they have lot of memories. She has pasted their photographs, and has doodled on some places.

She has used butterflies.

There's a pouch made on top of the page.

The pouch has cards with special messages written on them. I loved this idea. (And that's the birthday girl.)

Finally, she made an envelope with the handmade paper, and has kept the card safely inside.

xoxo
