How to Store Butter

by - February 26, 2016

Often, we purchase a pack of butter because we have planned to cook a dish that requires butter. We hastily store the butter in a bowl and use it immediately in the recipe. This cycle goes on repeating. I have recently discovered this idea and I'm thankful I did.

When you buy butter, remove the crepe paper that comes along with it. Take a microwave-safe container (if you have a microwave oven) or a container that you can keep on the stove (if you don't have a microwave oven). Keep the butter inside it.
Once you've used butter, store that container inside the refrigerator (which you do, I know!).

The main motive behind this post is the 'microwave-safe' part. Now, when you have to re-use the butter, just take out the container from the refrigerator and microwave it for 10 seconds. Your butter becomes perfectly soft and is ready to be spread on the bread without any hassle. My butter container can be seen in this and this post.

Try this trick and let me know if it works for you!
xoxo
