Chocolate Tart Without Oven Recipe

The Chocolate Tart Without Oven Recipe is super easy. It has a rich flavour of chocolate and tastes like a chocolate pastry from some high-end cake shop.

The original recipe is made using Oreo biscuits, however, I am not a fan of Oreos and I preferred going with an alternative. I made the tart using Oreo biscuits as well as its alternative, and personally for my liking, I liked the non-Oreo tart more. But then again, it's personal preference. All you need for making this recipe is a chocolate slab, butter, biscuits, and whipping cream.

The Chocolate Tart Without Oven Recipe is no doubt my favourite dessert recipes, after the yummy chocolate brownie recipe, of course. The tart recipe just needs a stove, mixer, and refrigerator.

1. To start making the biscuit crust for the Chocolate Tart Without Oven Recipe, grind biscuits in a mixer/food processor until they're finely ground.
(If you're using Oreo biscuits, then add the creamy fillings too in the mixer.)
2. In a tart pan or any vessel with edges, transfer the powdered biscuits. Add 75 gm of melted butter and mix until the crust is tight, smooth, and moist.
(I used Brittania butter which already had salt in it.)
3. Spread the crust along the edges of the vessel and on the bottom. The thickness should be even on all the sides.
4. Refrigerate the crust for 30 minutes until you make the chocolate filling for Chocolate Tart Without Oven Recipe.

For chocolate filling
5. To make the chocolate filling for the Chocolate Tart Without Oven Recipe, in a preferably glass bowl (or any heatproof vessel), place the roughly chopped chocolate. Keep aside.
6. In a pan, boil 25gm of butter along with a cup of whipped cream.
7. After the boil, turn off the gas, and pour this butter-whipped cream mixture on top of the chocolate. Wait for five minutes or until the chocolate melts.
(If the chocolate doesn't melt completely, microwave/heat the bowl for additional seconds to melt the chocolate completely. You should get a smooth, ganache-like consistency.)

8. Once the chocolate is melted, take out the crust from the refrigerator. The crust should be solid by then.
9. Pour the chocolate filling on top of the crust. Make sure the chocolate filling aligns the crust.
10. Refrigerate for four hours or overnight.

11. Once the Chocolate Tart Without Oven is ready, dust some cocoa powder or ground sugar on top. You can even sprinkle some chocolate-chips or walnuts on top. Enjoy!
