Lakme Enrich Satin M454 Lipstick | Review, Swatches, Look

My mom shopped this lipstick recently as her old one got over. This is the third time my mom is buying this shade. She thinks that only one shade suits her and it's this. Though this is a dark colour, she just dabs a little on her lips to bring out some colour on them (and she does this only when there's a function). So that's how my mom applies this lipstick. Let's now go through what I have to say about it.

I liked the previous packaging more. The previous one was a classy maroon coated lipstick with golden interiors. It was stylish to carry around. However, I didn't like the new packaging. It is neither funky nor exquisite; it lies somewhere in between, which doesn't look good at all. I don't like transparent bodies for lipsticks, so I am not impressed by the way it looks.

The lipstick is super pigmented; just one layer gives you a nice look. The formula is smooth, so the lipstick glides beautifully. If you're someone who cares about good colour and good formula, then this range is really worthy. The lasting power is not noteworthy, and is just like an average lipstick's power. It fades after eating and/or drinking.

The colour looks like it has slight pink undertones in the picture, but it doesn't. It's a chocolate brown with some glossy shine. If you ask me how I would describe it in a layman's language, then it would be dark brown with hints of golden shimmer. I love this shade a lot, and it's one of those nighttime lipsticks I wear on dates and nightlife. Absolute gorgeous!

- Highly pigmented
- Nighttime shade
- Glides smoothly
- Available easily

- The packaging could have been better

If you're someone who prefers the lipstick's shade over packaging, then it's a must-buy lipstick. It's highly pigmented, has edgy colour, and glides like an eagle.
