Indian Wedding Makeup Tutorial

I had shared a makeup tutorial last time when it was my cousin's engagement. For his wedding, which was on 19th May, I had two completely different looks for the same day. I'll share the first one before and the next, after few days.

For the first look, I was wearing a blue gown with heavy earrings. As my outfit and jewellery were flashy enough, I thought of going a little sober on my face. I chose peacock blue eyeliner and baby pink lips, to summarize. Read on further for a detailed tutorial. Also find all the products I used towards the end of the post.

- Before starting, I applied Maybelline's Baby Lips lip balm to moisturizer my lips.

- Without any moisturizer or a primer, I went directly to my foundation by Max Factor. I spread it using my fingertips under my eyes, on the eyelids, cheeks, and wherever I saw there was a need. Whenever I apply any face product, I never apply it on my whole face; it is always in little amounts, wherever there are marks.

- For eyes, I put base of the 'second shade' of Maybelline eyeshadow palette.
- I applied a thick line on my eye lids using turquoise MaxFactor eyeliner.
- For the waterline, I used kohl by Streetwear, and kept a thin line.
- I applied Colorbar's mascara using both of their wands on my upper lashes.

- I have an eyebrow pencil, which is from a local beauty shop. I drew it on my brows, thus being careful of not over drawing it.
- To finish off my eyebrows, I applied Bobbi Brown's eyebrow gel with a thin, angular brush.

- I applied light pink blush on the apple of my cheeks from Focallure's highlighting palette (I'll write a review on this soon) using a fat blush brush.
- From the same palette, I applied highlighter using a foundation brush on the cheekbones and nose.

- The lip balm I had worn earlier was absorbed by this time, and so I had soft lips. I applied Miss Claire's baby pink lipstick.

- I finally set my makeup using Maybelline's compact powder.
