My college mate, Palak, has gone to Vadodara, Gujarat as her family stays there (though the vacations are not on yet). She, along with her mother, made this beautiful showpiece using newspaper strips.

1. Take a newspaper, and cut strips.
2. Flatten the strips using a ruler, and then roll them.
3. Use glue to stick the individual strips.
4. Create the shape of the showpiece you want, using glue.
5. Take glue and water, and apply the paste on the showpiece.
6. Let it dry.
7. Paint the showpiece using acrylic colours. She used black and copper.
